n900 touchscreen right side jitter.
I've got a n900 I got from eBay --- was seemingly new-in-box. It worked fine for a few months, but it's developed a 'jitter' to it's sense of touches on the right side of the screen.

Actually... another thing it seems to screw up is the alarm --- again I have a custom mp3 chosen --- which plays in the part of the alarm app that chooses it, but doesn't play when the alarm sounds...

OK. So I have the right version. Really 2 classes of things it does wrong:
a) It sometimes doesn't repeat notify --- seems somewhat random... haven't got more useful things to say here.

how do I do that? I'm pretty sure I have extras-testing also in my list and the version I've gotten is buggy --- buggy in that it doesn't seem to always work.

Help on (hopefully simple) recovery.
The apt-get framework screwed up while upgrading my power-kernel. In this case from 50 to 51 --- I assume it does this in small steps to keep it from being bad --- I am aware that 52 is out.

How would one "close the flashlight" ... it's just an item on the menu. I've also rebooted a number of times, if that matters and am running the the community CSU.
