I was actually more interested about their "mysterious" wireless technology.
It seems to be quite short range, as the device is placed directly on the transmitter. However, it would be possible to transfer an ok quality album over 802.11n in under 10 seconds...
IrDA popularity is making a comeback with its highly efficient IrSimple protocols by providing sub 1 second transfers of pictures between cell phones, printers, and display devices.

At around 0:41, when you get to see the supported media types of the N900 device you can clearly see "n-gage" in the center? What's this supposed to mean?
