Where are you located? My USA map is right on the spot and I am happy with it.
However, the China map is 200 % useless. It is off so much, you can only follow it if you are looking at the whole China in one screen! Agree, useless! And have no idea how to proceed.

I have the same problem of the GPS being some 100 m off since pr 1.2, and I live in the Netherlands.

I have to publish and unsolved problem again, as I got no answer.
May be I am more successful here.
My N900 shows me always about 500 off to the east. I have checked the positioning data and it appears that the GPS gives the right signal and the right raw data. I compared lat/long with other gps and its the same. So, it must be a ovi maps problem, may be those maps are not calibrated to N900.
I have PR1.2 standard kernal, ovi maps latest version for N900 and downloaded the maps with map loader. I even deleted all maps and loaded online through 3G the data for the current position in order to make sure that I have the right maps(not the appl, i mean actually the maps).
I understand that we do not get the voice navi, however, a gps 500 m off is useless for me.
