You could just open the flasher and start flasing, and when the earse part is complete, just pull the cable... No MeeGo anymore

I read that I can install NEMO as an alternative OS, but can I install it as the main firmware?

You can do that, just follow the instructions on the wiki:
https://wiki.merproject.org/wiki/Nemo/Installing
but see that single-booting Nemo on N9 is not currently recommended.
Anyway, as you're unhappy with Harmattan, good luck and good bye.

I've bought a Nokia N9 64GB, and I really like the hardware advantages, but I don't like the MeeGo at all
I used to have Nokia N900 for 3 times, and I liked the Maemo so much.
I know that N9 allows you to install alternative OS like Android. But I want to remove the MeeGo Permanently, It has so poor interface, just like the Symbian Belle
I read that I can install NEMO as an alternative OS, but can I install it as the main firmware?
And if I am not allowed to replace MeeGo with another OS, can anyone tell me, where can I get a custom backup images like those of the N900?
i really hate that MeeGo, Please help me
