Not noticebly, I would say no difference. As a matter of fact, the resolution is absolutely NOT HD when playing local from HAVA. I think the limiting factor is the conversion HAVA is using. the HDTV from HAVA on the desktop TV is slightly better than 640X480 but not as good as 800X600, a gross estimation. and on the tablet, very little difference, except screen size changed from letter box to full screen.

That being said, I have been watching the TV on my tablet for the last 12 hrs. It is a good companion.

For people interested in the video quality, you can watch worldTV99 or VCURLs72 to get an idea, HAVA is not much difference but with more smooth streaming and much horrible A/V off sync, to the point almost unwatchable. Anyone found out how to solve this?

Not to mean to ignore you, I am as new as you, and I dont think I have anything to add. I think the overall experience with a Platinum package is positive. for ~$120, give full TV on the tablet, I would recommend go for it. The installation basically takes care of most things most average user scare, port forwarding, firewall setting, ip address, p2p, etc, install the package and that is it. As I pointed out in the previous post, ironically, my own hardware cost me more trouble that the installation.

Post back if there is any specific question you have, I have it running for 24 hrs so far, and happy with it.

Has anyone else got Beta 2 apart from Bunanson? My software is not updating and I have not had an email from Hava to confirm any update. can I ask how you managed to download the second beta?

I had no problem downloading beta2 directly to my N800. When I got the link to the initial beta version, I created a bookmark on the N800. When Hava advised of beta2 availability, I just tapped on the bookmark and it downloaded/installed via the Application Manager.

Thanks I have the Beta 2 now. Don't really notice much change. Should I be noticing anything different? Still not getting a full screen picture on my N800. I thought the new beta had sorted this problem out? I'm not being critical, I still think the Hava software is good but with a couple of tweaks it could be excellent. I suppose that's why they have beta testers!

The email advising of beta2 availability listed the new features of this version. According to another email that I received concerning an issue that I questioned, they intentionally did not mention any known issues this time around to get more feedback on the functionality.

I get a full screen picture on my N800 by tapping on the initial "windowed" screen. I tap on it again and it reverts to the initial size. In full screen, the image may be reduced by the typical black bars (side and/or top/bottom) depending on the format of the source.

I got full full screen only on HDTV, maybe digital source too, not sure. On analogue, I got the typical box screen, two black bars on either sides of the window.

One big question please: How do we watch this on a regular PC other than from the installation PC? i.e. can we have this stream to our notebook if we so choose? i.e., where is the PC player to tap into our HAVA machine other than using the tablet.

I want it to stay window for a reason and there is NO way. It keeps go to FS by itself.
Check the settings? :\
