I'm not sure what this does for you. There is a Tutorial on how to load the maps manually which is what I did. Since I loaded them manually, is there any reason for me to use this?

Also, it says it works on Vista, that should make it compatible with Win 7, correct?

That's what I ended up doing.

All these extra apps to do this and that can, apparently, be a pain in the arse.

And since when is a.s.s. a bad word? What if someone is talking about a donkey?

a.s.s. is in the damned Bible, for crying out loud!

1. plug in ur phone first to usb storage mode
2. make sure you get a message "image not available" after plugged in
3. Open up map loader

i did exactly as per 1-3 on vietn900's instructions.
i get a prompt in map loader saying:
"you have connected at least one phone in storage mode. reconnect your phone and select pc suite mode."
if i click ok it says waiting for phone.
and if i connect in pc suite mode it obviously doesn't work

don't do what i did on the other hand, don't erase those folders in the cities folder if you have any maps in there already. they're as good as gone

on the bright side, if i find a solution i'll post it here.
