Is Gps tracking working ?
On the Beta, yes, it works. On the final, didn't have the time to test yet. Let you know.

Thanks for the link.

GPS positionning works on this new version as expected. I've just the feeling its less precise than the previous version. But this time, if you click "use offline", the application doesn't ask for a data connection every seconds as previous versions did.

I had an interesting experience using Drive on the Beta. I didn't have a phone signal at the time of setting off, until I did I kept getting the Sailfish connection boxes appear getting me to chose phone or wifi. Very annoying whilst trying to drive. I had to stop and get the data connected before it'd just work.

Hi,
Was a bit too optimistic. Unfortunately, even if "Use offline" is checked. The Jolla asks for a mobile connection every 2s when Here is running

Same here (or HERE? )... It was pretty annoying during my travel from Budapest to Prague... But I had the same experience with Sygic, too, so it seems to be a general problem with navigation apps.

New version, 234, available on the Google Play. Not yet tested.

Have you tested it in offline mode without a data connection?

Tested it yesterday - worked perfectly in flight mode - my sim card was in my other mobile so I can't say what happens with a sim card in slot....
