We are expecting great things from the Natty release in that respect. Significant performance improvements have been made upstream in Plasma Mobile and we will also get the image sorted out so that you can just dd it to a MicroSD card and reboot a device. I will ping talk.maemo when Natty Kubuntu Mobile is ready to take for a spin

Thanks. Happy to go for a spin with it after downloading (bloody slow here)

As this is supposed to be a dd'able image and I don't have an empty uSD card with me, just some questions...
- N900 specific pre and post-install instructions ?
- u-boot compatible ? Multiboot compatible ?

ian i have the exact same problem as the last time i tried the natty image.

Guys, any news on progress? have been following and suprised this hasnt gotten more reaction in the forums considering its, from what I can gather being officially developed and looks like it could be a viable replacement for maemo

hmm last update 25 jan 2011 so seems that they still developing it
Did anybody tried the latest release?

i have search on net but i can not find that how can i make partition on MMC so please will any body guide me to make the partition on mmc

I think u can use gparted to partion mmc. windows 7 also have disk partion utility Dunno if it works for emmc.
