Thank you, leetut, but I forgot to say, where I am in the UK we don't get 3G signal in our village, so my phone is already on GSM, much to the annoyance of my speakers with the constant interference...

Initially this morning when I flashed to PR1.2 Global I had trouble installing apps like Brain Party too....
