Re: Official Fuelpad Thread
Hello all Fuelpad fans,
I am really sorry that I haven't been able to release a N9 version. I started it a few months ago but it is still too early to release anything. It is a complete rewrite...

Re: Official Fuelpad Thread
Unfortunately I still haven't done anything for this request. I have started porting Fuelpad to Qt hoping to have a version for N9 in the future. It is actually almost a complete rewrite and...

After reading your text two times I finally get it.
You must be exaggerating the price difference of different petrols. In Finland we have two petrol choices at the moment: 95E10 or 98E5. The...

It's not written in Qt but GTK. A Windows version is highly unlikely. The code used to compile on desktop Linux a few releases ago but I believe it does not anymore.

Re: Official Fuelpad Thread
I am sorry for not implementing this. Even if it sounds trivial to add it, there are some design decisions making this more difficult than it should be. I never use km/l myself and that has put it...

Re: Fuelpad for Fremantle
A development version 1.0~beta~svn20110130 is now in extras-devel. It includes the new fancier table view (you can still use the old one, just select "classic" from the settings) and a new feature, a...

Re: Carman for Maemo 5?
To Sophie: I'm sorry that I haven't replied about the dbus problems. I have been busy with work and also with the next version of fuelpad (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=903589&postcount=100)....

Re: Carman for Maemo 5?
No, most probably not (didn't you say it works with some other devices (laptop etc.)). Maybe systemcrash's car's obd works with the default protocol and yours doesn't. But according to the ELM327...

Re: Carman for Maemo 5?
libobd is packaged separate from carman. In scratchbox, you can download the source using "apt-get source libobd". This downloads and unpacks the source to libobd-0.7. The file that has to be...

Re: Carman for Maemo 5?
Maybe something like this could help in libobd's obd-chan-elm.c after ATAT2 command and its response test and before sending "0101"
if(obdchanelm_ssendcmd(chan, "ATSP0", 6)) { /* Set protocol...

Re: Carman for Maemo 5?
libobd is the device driver library which is between carman and the elm327 based obd dongle. The source is available so there should be a way to correct it. If I'm not mistaken it is made by the same...

Re: Carman for Maemo 5?
I don't have any experience in ELM327 nor do I have one but looking at the log and quickly skimming through the ELM327 spec (http://www.elmelectronics.com/DSheets/ELM327DS.pdf), it seems that libobd...

Re: Carman for Maemo 5?
You might want to try ESbox (http://esbox.garage.maemo.org/2nd_edition/), which is an Eclipse add-on to support Maemo development.

There is also a simpler way of installing all the build dependencies. Go to the source directory (for example carman-ui-0.7~pre-alpha1) and
fakeroot apt-get build-deb carman-ui
Replace...

Would http://fuelpad.garage.maemo.org/documentation.html be of any help? It is for an older version of Fuelpad, but the general principles still apply.
