Thx, so based on what I am reading, I would have to enable background connections for Wazapp to be 100% connected. So if I don't do that then I have control over when it is connected and can check...

I uninstall the script version then installed the .deb file from the first post. All went well with the new installation. I have rebooted twice now and the icon is still not there... Thanks
