oh guys i've been talking to vi_ about the modified ideal profile inside the batterypatch.tar.gz

i'm not sure about my settings if they gives the best results if you are having problems with battery
just try other profiles
and DON'T FORGET TO ENABLE SMARTREFLEX

PS: will add uninstalling.sh later

to verify
open swappolube and change vfs pressure value to 1000
then apply
then exit
then lock and unlock the screen
then open swappolube again you must see the vfs cache pressure value is 100

Testing of the "battery patch" starts right now. Thanks again, karam (and vi_, of course). Will report anything deserving to be reported.

By the way, karam, you changed the title of the thread from "Speed Patch..." to "Seed Patch..."

EDIT: Something made many of my status-applets to not load on first reboot. Rebooted again and everything's OK.

You can also connect by SSH and run:
Code:
cat /proc/sys/vm/vfs_cache_pressure
Do it when locked, then when unlocked. You'll see 10, and then 100 if everything's allright.

Question: IDEAL profile for kernel is loaded on every boot, or am I wrong?

Yes, it loads it with every boot, if you have followed the instructions from the 1st post correctly.
Edit: Karam was quickier

what if you don't want to add the ideal profile and want to use your own?
