Oh, thank you

I have some exiting news about MoGateway: Oytun Şengül from MeeGo Turkey kindly translated it to Turkish so I'll wrap a new deb and shortly after that I'll submit it to the competition

It's likely that my entry will be as close to the deadline as possible!

I am quite proud of the work I have done though! Cross compiled a C++ web service framework in scratchbox (never done ANY cross compiling before), generating C++ XML databindings using the WSDL file and then built the interactions between the QML and the extra Qt I need to write.

All this in my spare time while doing 40+ hours weeks at work.

But building the GUI is a *****, they say QML is easy - but not as easy as it should be, needs a much better WYSISYG editor.

The deadline is 12am UTC (which is 1am 10th Sept for me in the UK).

You've done a lot of good work rash.m2k, we definitely want to see it in the competition I've total confidence it'll be done in time

QML is like most things - it's easy, sure, but only when you know how to do what it is you want to do! If you don't already know then it can be a pain to find out the right way to do it. But it's a good exercise, the next time will be easy

Yeah, my entry made it this morning thru the Nokia store QA. Unbelievable!

I cross my fingers to don't get sued at some point...

rash.m2k, a hot and well-meant advice: Ignore the WYSIWYG module of the qml editor! (really, never open it)

Just try to write the code in small parts in the editor, use the syntax highlighting, compile the stuff often and look how the code work at the device. If it stopps working undo your last step and try again. You will need a little bit more time to learn how it works but you will get faster with every try. I doubt you will ever get a good working code if you are trying to build it using the WYSIWYG editor. Press [CONT]+[Space] if you need to see what is possible.
Good luck!

I have another problem now.

I have downloaded: Putty, PuttyGen and PageAnt, then created private and public key, private set in putty (and pageant) and sent to garage account public key.

But I am still receiving message "Server refused our key".

Here is how my key looks like:
---- BEGIN SSH2 PUBLIC KEY ----
Comment: "rsa-key-20120905"
AAAAB3NzaC1yc2EAAAABJQAAAIEAg9A2hf+qOTdPdJzR6DnNJJ 9Ojd+9SwirlgY5
d2L+DOhGeIxuBO7noAMxpxbsxid8ZxTXDGQ4mUbg9ESXLxdF1e z3TT8064Eohpl2
Uk5jy4HdO/GL7LuV+kfQMpxufL9njPlFxCYBPjda8xhffYnhEhopeo4HmTla I6fS
2jeWb8U=
---- END SSH2 PUBLIC KEY ----
I have tried to remove new lines, comment, BEGIN-END and I don't know what else I tried, but no matter what, I still receive that message.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Hehe, I will... but I have still plenty of time to go through it . And I may get another small application to boost the numbers into the competition before the time runs out.

That's all music to my ears

Only 4 days to go though Funny thing is, people have been asking me this morning about what I'm going to do on Sunday and I was wondering how they knew about the competition. Then i realised.. the 9th of September is my birthday They must think I'm very odd when I told them my plans were to spend all day administrating a load of coding competition submissions

Edit:
Ruh-oh! Roberto's caught too
