i will work on disabling/enabling taskswitcher from power menu for now
and i actually tried the volume buttons but they are very slow to respond which made me cancel using them

Maybe it's because i have german keyboard, similar to robin92's problem, but how can I fix it?
I can't figure out how to edit /etc/event.d/swapper
It won't open, and besides, I don't know what to open/edit it with!

you can edit it with any editor
ex leafpad
apt-get install leafpad
then
leafpad /etc/event.d/swapper
PS: all has to be done as root
you will see at the bottom of the file Ctrl:Right and Ctrl:Left
you can change them
try change to fit your keyboard layout

I use FBreader and Hivemind a lot, swapping from one to the other. This helps a lot.

I found that the combination of keys can not match the layout of the keyboard according to your language. Can you prevent this?
Is it possible to execute these movements by means of terminal commands? In order to combine it with other applications.

It works with some app and not with others. Sometimes it works switches only browser tabs, sometimes it skips some apps and so forth. But I have been waiting so long for this type of app. Thanks a lot.
