Is there an R&D mode for N9-00 prototype? It might switch off watchdogs, and thus prevent reboot loop.

Having reboot reason stated somewhere may help...

Best wishes.

Research&develop mode has several functions.

From N900, I remember those two:
1. Does not shutdown-reboot just because watchdog said so;
2. keyboard backlight is used as indicator of system status - for system notifications.

Actually... Wiki page

As far as I know, I do not have it enabled. It just came to my mind as the 'easiest' way to get rid of reboots... Since flashing-everything is not enough.

When you get to the filesystem, it would be helpful to find some kind of system logs which would state the reasons of reboots.

Best wishes.

At least you found the FWs!

To extract the ocf image, just use 7zip.

22-6 is PR1.1 afair (without checking my safe )
I am not sure what one-click-flasher does but after extracting you will find some batch file(s) and it will reveal to you what it does. So probably it just flashes FW and you can use a manual full flash (with eMMC) and you are good to go ...

Yes, looks like it is not a malf problem but something else.

So, if you have not been able to flash the device, I assume it has the original content full in there, right?
First I'd take of course backups of all partitions, before attempting anything. Usually tar works best as dd'ing the devices will create so large images as to be unnecessary.
Then, I'd investigate what is the boot phase it hangs on, and for that the absolutely best tool is to enable serial console and monitor that when the device boots.
