Any way to turn background connections on and off? Basically done with PSM, but the screen dimming is a little obnoxious.

Ajalkane,
any chances to have functionality of "stop processing next rules"/"jump to default"? We discussed it some time ago and you promised to think about inclusion of such feature into one of next releases (due to implementation simplicity). I still would like to see this and still think that it would be handy not only for myself.

Until such time as the Wiki's up & it can be moved there (as discussed before), whereupon new stuff be added by everyone on an ongoing basis.
I noticed your recipes list only has custom actions & 1x scripting, no plans to include ideas for straightforward/practical rules one can create?

Problem is, that sometimes the connection is left on even after setting restricted mode on with gconf, so it seems that gconf setting has no effect. But the phone behaves exactly the same way e.g. when I start the store app, and then switch it off. The connection will be left on, until switched off from settings menu or flight mode is activated.
I don't know why code I've tested doesn't work always. Sometimes it has worked for several days with no problem, but it seems only to be a matter of time when the problem occurs again.

hello,
i set the rule " enable psm after 90min of not using the phone".
the problem is i leave wazapp client open and when psm gets activated by that rule, wazapp tries to reconnect all the time which drains my batter. So can anyone give me a custom command to enhance my rule e.g "after 90min of not using phone - enable psm and terminate wazapp"

So the 1.8.1 version, that you'll see as an update, has of the above the following:
* Added restore previous to mobile network action
* Fix: bug in WLAN condition selection showing also mobile connection
* Internet connection summary clarified
1.9.0 version will probably arrive soon.
