Nokia Panorama or Quick Morpho? I found that the QMPp crashes on my phone aswell. To resolve this, open lens cover before you execute the app. Worked for me! Hyvää päivänjatkoa!

Edit: Here are 2 quick pics i took from my living room window a few minutes ago. Both pictures are with default settings. As you can see there is a big difference in the 2. The Nokia one is much crisper and of higher quality, but it took about 7 mins to capture and process it, as for the QMPp the entire process took like 15 seconds.

Verdict:

QMPp for "snapshots"

NP for portraits

QMPp

Nokia Panorama. And noup, won't start even lens cover opened first.

Will try launching from terminal and see if I get any errors...

This my output when launched from terminal:
~ $ /usr/bin/panorama
Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (version 0x40602) with this library (version 0x40700)
Aborted

Maybe it's the libqt4-experimental that's causing it...

edit: removing those packages did the trick

Do you have 'aptitude' installed? It's perhaps much easier to install via x-term.
# aptitude install panorama
It skips the ovi requirement and 'just works' : )

i like it! WAY WAY better than quickmorpho.
its basically like my old samsung jet's panorama-function, only that you can make 360°-pics. but its true, processing does take some time
but its a drawback i can live with, at least the panorama end up being halfway straight. with the quickmorpho-app its impossible to make a straight panorama, because you would waggle up and down a little bit and it would show on the picture because its recording it like a movie.
