After that, all was well.

I'd say it was a bug, except I haven't reproduced it reliably, so I'll just call it a one-time fluke.
That is a good point. I know about that slider bug. Basically how to avoid it is to not "slide" the slider. Just click on the text itself or the slider. When you do it by sliding sometimes it works and sometimes not. The speed of the sliding affects it also.

It seems to be a bug on the platform, but it's avoidable when you know it and just change the setting by clicking.

I can't get this working:
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=885
and neither this which have been working earlier:
http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=884

Is this result OK for executable?:
# chmod a+rx /home/user/scripts/execroot.sh
~ # chmod a+rx /home/user/scripts/restartbme.sh
~ #

'Run rules action' don't work and 'Test' of Custom action gives no reaction but the blue bar is shown correct?

No reaction besides Blue bar shown.

Condition: charging power

edit: Think it's 'Custom action' which don't work. I have 3 rules of that kind none of them works it seems!

Those seem ok. Perhaps what you've written to Custom Actions is misspelled or something?

I can look more into it if you collect logs using this method while you try to use the "Test" button by using these instructrions:

The logs you posted seem to have nothing to do with what you originally asked about. I see you trying to reboot the device with wrong command?

I'm a bit at loss what you're trying to achieve.

You were right wrong command spelling. I only set up reboot rule because Fixing battery drop didn't work, then I would try the one which have worked earlier, and made stupid spelling mistake.Sorry

From your logs one can see that the script is run. But what are the contents of your script? There are some errors that might be the reason:

Code:
Must use org.mydomain.Interface.Method notation, no dot in "uint32:0"
Sleeping 10 seconds before start bme
BMEVENT_CHARGER
EM: Input/output error (trying to reopen)
EM: error opening: No such file or directory
EM: error opening: No such file or directory
BMEVENT_BATMON
EM: error opening: No such file or directory
