I have exactly the same problem but due a different liquid. I used the phone for a while but did find the WIFI to be indispensable so i tried to fix it using the make it wet and put it in oven...

the feature I really miss in this "not yet working" MfE is a simple log so I can understand what is wrong or unsupported. Coming from the Linux world I find it hard to see a progress bar...
