I'm a bit confused...

On what partition will the android files be copied to?
To the 2GB applications partition or the larger MyDocs partition?

Re: large Xorg.0.log - no space left in /tmp

Just a completely wild guess, but could it be a keyboard hardware problem?
My logic is: if EV_KEY is a keyboard event, then maybe the system is being overrun by spurious events generated by a...

Re: Pulseaudio doesn't auto start

Hi,

This thread handles the same problem: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=65497&page=4

It seems to be something related to libFLAC.

Re: BFS for the power kernel

A few pages back in this thread you will find a link to download a working fcam-drivers package for this kernel, which will all the camera apps work.

Just want to add that I uninstalled bfs kernel...

Re: [announce] swappolube to lubricate your gui

Could be. But the phone would reboot instead of the task getting killed. Or could the reboot be a "collateral damage" of the x-term getting killed unexpectedly?

Re: [announce] swappolube to lubricate your gui

Hi,

Has anyone run into problems copying large files on the device, in x-term while swappolube's proposed settings are in effect?

I'm picking up on the other poster's post about transmission...

Re: [Announce] cuteTube - A feature-rich YouTube client

It's not a big deal. It's just that when you left-click on it, the browser tries to save a file called Q30 to wherever folder you select.
Usually it's the proper filename and extension. That's all.

Re: Periodic loss of connectivity in spite of connected WLAN

I don't think it's related to wifi's power saving settings because sometimes it also happens with 3G connection.
It seems as if the connection is interrupted but the UI doesn't reflect that and...

Re: BFS for the power kernel

I have kernel-bfs v45 installed for almost a week now and I must sayy that I do not notice any performance or responsiveness improvements over kernel-power v45.
Just as Gusse pointed out the desktop...

Re: [Announce] cuteTube - A feature-rich YouTube client

The download link has a small problem. It has no extension (.deb) and is named Q30, instead of cutetube-xxx

But the file itself downloads ok.
Thanks.

Re: Periodic loss of connectivity in spite of connected WLAN

The same happens to me too.
I have AutoDisconnect installed and I thought it could be culprit.
But it only started to happen after updating to PR1.3.

Yesterday I uninstalled power kernel and I can in fact confirm that it is not related to that kernel.
It's like nicolai said and sickki further developed and most likely related to the PR1.3...

Hi nicolai,

Thanks for your input.
Good work on figuring out what the problem may be.
But why does 'start pulseaudio' also fail sometimes even after the internal mmc is mounted?

Also, I...

Hi,

I'm having the same problem: most of the times the phone boots and pulseaudio doesn't start. No sound, no ringtone, no sound during calls. This is a very serious situation, in my opinion.
I'm...

Maybe a demon is going all "paranormal activity" on your innocent little N900 during the night.
Reflashing it maybe the same as 'technological exorcism' in this case.

I think that all the optimizations were mostly done in the media player and not to pulseaudio.
For instance, the FM radio player still stutters horribly and sometimes just stops playing completely...

Re: What's new in PR 1.3

Yes. I updated to PR1.3 from Ovi Suite, and had everthing backed up. Restored after the update.
The applications were all gone but the custom menu folders were still there.
And what's even funnier...
