Re: [Request] ut (unreal-tournament) port for maemo5

Sorry but I don't think full UT'99 source was ever released so it can't easily be ported. Maybe some day, it really is an awesome game...

Re: Multiple bluetooth headphones possible?

Seems to me like getting the sound to both the wired and BT headset is not something I can do from the mixer but it's something that would be doable with Pulseaudio. I'm just not an expert on it...

Re: "Homeworld" on the N900 - Bringing a classic to Maemo 5

It's apparently a difficult one and the original porter seems to have given up for now. The game includes self-modifying assembly optimizations which I think was a major issue on top of the required...

Re: Multiple bluetooth headphones possible?

This one doesn't seem to work out of the box, the Bluetooth headphones I have get muted when I plug in the wired ones. Based on a previous thread I tried looking at the mixer controls on alsamixer...

Re: [Request] Tower Deffence Game

A couple of candidates to port would be:
- Wii Tower Defense (http://www.plaatsoft.nl/wiibrew/wii/towerdefense/)
- Defense Station Portable v1 (http://sourceforge.net/projects/dsp/)

Multiple headphones possible?

I've tried googling but can't seem to find any definite info on this even for Linux generally. Does anyone know if it's possible to set up two pairs of bluetooth headphones to receive the same A2DP...

Re: [Announcement] noiz2sa in extras-devel

It may well be that it just is not available. This game has been released under a license similar to BSD and programmers not in the open source community tend to not care so much about releasing when...

Re: Is there any good games on the n900?

Definitely check out Kenta Cho's noiz2sa now that it's available. It's one of the best games on N900.

Doom of course too.

Re: Wolfenstein ET Source Released, N900 possibility?

Seems like these may be getting merged to ioquake3 which could help getting them on the N900, http://ioquake3.org/2010/08/12/welcome-wolfenstein-enemy-territory-and-return-to-castle-wolfenstein/

Re: [Announcement] noiz2sa in extras-devel

Ah, I guess I've mistakenly assumed all the Kenta Cho shmups need OpenGL because rrootage does. Doesn't seem like this depends on it at all. I wonder if any others that have Linux ports don't have...

Re: [Announcement] noiz2sa in extras-devel

One of the shmup's finally on the N900, thank you so much! :) How much work was it to get it run with OpenGL ES?

Re: Wolfenstein ET Source Released, N900 possibility?

Seems likely that it would be possible as ET probably doesn't demand so much more of the hardware than Q3A and maybe the OpenGL ES work done on Q3 could be used pretty much unchanged on this one....

Re: N900:How to connect internet using proxy

Most apps just aren't able to use a typical http proxy to connect, even on a desktop computer and won't work.

Re: Best N900 games

Definitely Doom (Prboom), it's just one of the best games ever and works very well on a mobile platform as there's autoaim by default. Been playing Final Doom's Evilution WAD since I never got around...

Re: Possible to run PS3's Open Remote Play on the N900?

I guess the issue is decoding h264/MPEG4 with ffmpeg is just too slow on the N900 then..? I suppose the hardware could handle the video with a decoder that takes advantage of it's features.

Possible to run PS3's Open Remote Play on the N900?

The Playstation 3 supports Remote Play (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_Play) thru which you can access music, video, some games etc. on the PS3 and even watch live or recorded TV if you have the...

Re: EA games coming to the n900?

It's not really so much a M6 feature as it is also future hardware feature. For me DRM is more of a fault than a feature though and I'm sad if the main motivator for such a anti-user thing is finding...

Re: Using PS3 SixAxis controller with N900

I'm a bit confused, is this actually in a playable state? In any case, very cool. Maybe I'll actually be able to play with the Sixaxis instead of getting something like a Zeemote, the PS3<->N900...

Re: msi bgp-100 bluetoh gamepad in nokia n900

How's the pad otherwise, is it a good one and does the N900 fit well on it or do you play with the phone and the controller separate?

Re: Mac OS X 10.3 on N900

If this kind of thing still makes news I'm puzzled if running a full Linux desktop at an actually somewhat usable speed doesn't. If EasyDebian LXDE isn't a full desktop enough, maybe GNOME/KDE would...

Re: Silly n00b question: Beneath a Steel Sky. Installed. But can't add game to ScummVM?

For me installing the BaSS package added a item for the game itself and not just scummvm so I didn't have to hunt for it around the filesystem at all.

Re: Have a good bluetooth keyboard? Share!

The Apple wireless keyboard works well for me and I use it on Windows. I haven't tried it on the N900 and only paired it with the PS3 once IIRC.

I'm interested in hearing about a nice foldable...

Re: Windows Playready DRM?

The reasons this is in my opinion quite a bad thing for the open source/free sofware community are

1) people are forced to do choose between being free to do what they want with their device and...

Re: Google Browser: Chrome

Because it's for i386 architecture and you'd need it built for ARM, most likely.
