If its using port 465 it will be using SSL - check if your user info ( account username and password ) are set up correctly for outgoing mail.

Just tried to find it, cant... But I saw at least a couple of posts stating that their built in mic is not working but headset works fine - so does this mean it is almost definitely a hardware...

As I said, a basic editor would be fine.

A lot of the popular apps on the iPhone are related to fun effects for the camera/existing pics on the phone. Android also has a few - polaroid type...
