This might get me creamed around here, but I bought an ipod touch and it absolutely works great. It does everything I want ti to do, elegantly. Its not open source, but it work.

I personally am encouraged by the beta. Its not fully usable...you lose keyboard after going fullscreen(?) but its a good concept.
