Maximum "brightness time" - 2 min.
This is not enough, for example, for reading books.

May I ask, advanced brightness control bundled ;) with you kernel update what exactly change on Nokia 770? Does it increase bars in brightness regulation? Extended choise of brightness...

to /usr/bin/osso-xterm -e mc
terminal running, mc - not
I even tried cd /usr/bin/ ;osso-xterm -e mc
nothing run. :)

I got dumb. :) Of course, i closed and opened terminal, but the file that I changed as root, allowed changing itself again. Thats why i thought that i'm still root. :)

WOW! MC started when MC in terminal was typed !!! B)
But "stand-alone" it's doesn't work. Run via menu took no effect, and no cpecific MC icon in menu (just common app icon)
