Dear community,
let me present you with my small open source app creation.

Self Timer allows you to set the timer on camera of your Nokia N9 running Meego 1.2 Harmattan. Additional settings of flash mode and sound effects are provided. Pictures taken are available in Gallery.

Enjoy casually taking close photos of you and your friends by yourself
with great ease.

Features:
  • setting time to photo interval in seconds
  • use appropriate flash mode by touching the led
  • prepare your best smile as you hear countdown and shutter effects
  • preview last taken and saved photo
  • delete the photo if not satisfied

Now you are really able to show yourself.

Feedback welcome.

Hi

I can't download the new update in the ovi store. I get an error in apt saying the size doesn't match:

apt-get upgrade
Leyendo lista de paquetes... Hecho
Creando árbol de dependencias
Leyendo la información de estado... Hecho
Se actualizarán los siguientes paquetes:
selftimer
1 actualizados, 0 se instalarán, 0 para eliminar y 0 no actualizados.
Necesito descargar 326kB de archivos.
Se utilizarán 131kB de espacio de disco adicional después de esta operación.
¿Desea continuar [S/n]?

Des:1 [326kB]
0% [1 selftimer 0B]QNetworkReplyImpl::_q_startOperation was called more than once
Descargados 298kB en 2s (123kB/s)
Imposible obtener exec:////usr/bin/osa --get 'selftimer' El tamaño difiere
E: No se pudieron obtener algunos archivos, ¿quizás deba ejecutar
apt-get update o deba intentarlo de nuevo con --fix-missing?

Anyone else suffers this?

thanks,

Did you try a cycle of "apt-get clean + apt-get update" ?
Also, if possible change connection before apt-get update, i.e. if you were on wifi try to download via GSM or viceversa.

Hi

Yes, I've been trying this for a few days now, same results. I've just done the apt-get clean && apt-get update && apt-get upgrade and I got the same error.

Any other ideas?

thanks

Hi again,

Accesing directly store.ovi.com/content/254161/download and grabing the .deb gives me version:

selftimer_0_436837.0.5_armel.deb

which is not 0.0.6.

Try again.
I did it now and via URL you reported it downloaded selftimer_0_436837.0.6_armel.deb
I have however installed it directly from Store, and btw even though the package name is different: selftimer_0.0.6_armel.selftimer, they are exactly the same (checked with md5sum)

If you don't see the 0.6 version yet, it must be some caching/delay effect with Nokia's worldwide mirrors
