What are our current Maemo options for mounting a network drive on the N900's file sytem? Can I mount just any smb share in Maemo? Can I use a GUI app for that? and even access it with a GUI-app?
HiDrive is a cloud storage service, they offer WebDAV and smb shares and other. They have their servers in Germany, and pretty decent rates, easily compete with Dropbox. What they don't have is a mobile app for Maemo (duh).
Do you see any way to access a WebDAV, smb or other network share in any Maemo file mananger?

Wizard Mounter

EDIT: smb shares are for some reason ultra slow in stock file manager, use filebox after you mount drives with Wizard Mounter

I now use wizardmounter and hamsterfiler but that or filebox it is matter of taste. Both work well in my opinion.

I forgot to ask also: is WebDAV just as slow as smb?
Does any of our file managers support it?
HiDrive only supports webDAV on a free plan, SMB comes with the paid options.
I did check the respective documentations of FileBox and Hamsterfiler, didn't see SMB or WebDAV mentioned, but obviously that doesn't mean it's not there.

EDIT: Just found out Wizard Mounter only mounts NFS or SMB.
Can you recommend anything for WebDAV?
