I have the same impression when I see videos of reviewers/testers.. Sometimes it seems worse.. I read that it's the fastest when you turn "developer mode" off.. but still maps takes ages.. 10seconds when it launches without being opened in background? Hope they can improve that with update and other minor tweaks

i will "get" over flash as soon as all my favorite internet radio programs and streaming media offer a non flash alternative

unlike you - i buy a phone for what it can do, not just because it has a FOSS sticker on it

Although, I really would prefer the best of both worlds, but I am in agreement more or less.

I downloaded navifirm program from here

unpacked it installed it and ran it.
Waited for models to show up, Clicked on N9, firmware popped up as 10.2011.34.1 clicked on that then clicked on the variants and the variants all popped up then I clicked on the export pc list and copied and pasted it here.


Here is the cut and paste from Navifirm for the N9 variants

059J202: RM-696 NDT GERMANY BLACK 16GB
059J1V7: RM-696 NDT GERMANY BLACK 64GB
059K0Z2: RM-696 NDT GERMANY CYAN 16GB
059K1G2: RM-696 NDT GERMANY MAGENTA 16GB

Sad to say but germany wont get a N9

even amazon.de says its an EU-Import

BTW: Price at amazon.de for the 64GB Version has dropped from 799 to 704,99 EUR... maybe i will get one in december for... lets say... 450 EUR...

hoh.de (german retailer for pc components) says that they will have the N9 in stock at cw 41, thats next week

I just rang plaisio.gr and despite having the listing on their webshop as coming soon, they told me they will have it for sale in the end of november. Aaaargggggh!

Switzerland:
The black 16gb N9 is now in stock at digitec.ch, one of the biggest online shops in switzerland. According to the website ">10" devices are available, based on my expierience with this store i believe this is correct.
Other colors and 64gb models are not yet in stock and "are supposed to ship in early october".

Edit: sry forgot to mention they only ship within switzerland
