Can you make your threads more useful by providing screenshotsn and some general info. Thanks

Edit: no way I would install a deb from the net without proper dscription. Sure even with description its dangerous, but atleast it looks more legit...

you could at least search about it . Smartsearch is implemanted in harmattan and you can search for everything from it ( it's the search app for N9 ) i will add screenshot later .

Edit : And no one is forced to install it . Do it at your own risk but it works for me .

Sure, I can search, but you are posting something. So you should know what you post and be complete as you can. This way your posts has way more value to me and especially other people. By the way, I was only asking if you could.

If you find more applications that are useful in the "hidden" repository, please be detailed as possible, thanks. You are doing a good job as I never found the motivation to crawl through it...

I tend to think that experienced users would download the deb and first look inside it to see what is installed and what not.

Many people here, however, are not doing that and are not experienced users and for them it might be good to see at least two disclaimers:

1. That you are spreading deb files that you do not own yourself, that is, they have not been created by you and as such there is no way of telling whether these packages work as intended.

2. Stuff may break devices. Install at own risk, etc.

These disclaimers should be part of your first post.

Furthermore: Make sure your target audience knows what device the package is meant for.

I have looked at the deb (but cannot, from here, look at post-install, etc.). Looks OK.

The developer (his username) may have been "prashanth" (judging from the source code path stored in the executable).

Network searches supposedly use v360.vtap.com ("Veveo analytics", URL=v360.vtap.com/dsmashup?...). Commented out is also URL=http://www.veveoinc.com/dsmashup?

Judging from the name of the config directory (/home/user/.veveo), I'd say it was developed by "prashanth" of "Veveo Inc." company.

I don't like the "Analytics" part of Veveo (you see that if you visit the web site, it asks for authentication).
