Bugs can be reported here before you post a bug, read the first post for how to obtain the log

Sneakpeek: the log can be found in /home/user/.config/.scorpius/ and is named yappari.log

I had problems installing 0.0.28 ver, after install, when open yappari crash continously...

I fixed this one doing this:

uninstall 0.0.26

delete folder .yappari

install 0.0.27

reboot

test 0.0.27 working OK except sync

install 0.0.28

and works perfect!

I tryed directly from 26 to 28 and not works

Hello everyone! I just bought an used nokia n900 for my sister and I was so much impressed with it that I have started using it as my primary phone instead of my nokia 700 and have given my sis my old 5230 with which she is very satisfied. And I can also add I am a noob now!
Now to business. I have installed Yappari and it's performance is pretty convincing. Some features I miss from Whatsapp are the ability to copy a message and the ability to forward a message. I'll try sending my log too. Anf a big thanks to Scorpius!

Glad you started liking the N900 so much that you started using it as your primary phone.

The features you are missing are not implemented (yet) in Yappari. As Scorpius is doing this in his freetime, whatsapp is changing the protocol all of the time and there are some nasty bugs remaining and all of that takes a long time to develop, those features were not highest priority in the past and still need to be developed.

Yappari keeps dying on me. I check the status applet and it says "waiting for connection"; if I tap it, nothing happens. I have to start the app again to get it to appear and connect.

Here's the last part of the log, redacted for privacy; tell me if you need more (it's gotten to 5 megabytes and it's a teensy bit long):

Code:
>> (really long number)
syncer: Synchronizing contacts...
syncer: Authenticating...
