We have released a LAN or WLAN remote control application for 2010 and 2011 Samsung TVs.
Supported are all C-model and D-model TVs from series 6 or higher.
It is available free of charge from the following page:
http://www.gemote.org
We currently support Windows (XP, Vista, 7), Linux, Mac OS X (Intel), WeTab, MeeGo
... and also the Nokia N900.

There seems to be N9/(50) version available now. I can't get it work though.

worked for me... N9 controlling Samsung 6 Series... Just needed to go to TV & enable Network Remote Control (under System) then press a button on remote and allow it to connect on the TV
