N9 owners are staying vulnerable. *sigh...*

I guess we're in that void where there's neither official nor community support.

I tested reboot and some sw using png and I had no issue.

Now I install and test OMP and you're right. I have to test it.
However I have no problem with h-d.
Could QBW widgets also play a role in that? I don't know if you use them.

I assume yes as QBW *can* display png and if that lib makes you crash h-d than it's most likely that qbw depends on that lib and now it breaks...

The problem seems to be between qt and libpng. I'm digging deeper to solve the issue.
To be honest I tested no qt app ...

I see various reports from people having issues after updating this package, not only Qt related.

So my advise would be: do not upgrade until things are sorted out by Luf and he gives the green light again.

I've removed libpng from cssu-devel for now to prevent further problems

@peterleinchen - may I have your custom .xml, so I can test it here?
Hey freemangordon,

maybe found another oddity.
I am not 100% (but pretty sure), that this came up only after using your lib. At least I did not detect that earlier with stock tklock.

Let your display timeout with closed keyboard. This normally will activate the lock. With your version installed, if you directly push the power button after display has gone black, you will see the last activity (not the lock screen) and you may interact with it for a few seconds ...

--edit
OMG, just tested it again to be sure. And it is gone (of course there was a reboot inbetween). So forget about it until I or someone else confirm this again.

After the installation does not start HAM.
I was forced to downgraded
Code:
apt-get install libpng12-0=1.2.37-1maemo3+0m5
and HAM starts.

New version (1.2.49) of libpng12-0 is in the repo, it fixes bug #12646 (several CVEs).

It has the same version as last try. However I find the problem and fixed it. I described the change #maemo-cssu. I also checked the maemo code againist upstream 1.2.37 and nothing else is different. I'm sorry for my previous mistake.

I successfully tried also with OMP and HAM.

New version (1.2.49 cssu2) of libpng12-0 is in the repo, it backports neon patches from libpng15 upstream and also add memory 16-bit alignment (both thanks to freemangordon). It speeds up the png loading ~30% (sure it depends on png file).

New version (2.6.32 cssu1) of libxml2 is in the repo, it backports fix for using zlib the supported way.
