Some of it, some parts aren't. Unfortunately Yappari si one of those closed sources things in your phone

Yappari's source code won't be released until the creator finds it stable enough, and viewing all the obstacles he's been facing lately I don't think you should get your hopes up just yet...
However, if it's just a matter of changing the Yappari icons your phone is open source enough to achieve that

Yeah bad thing is it won't be compiled to thumb2

While it's a program that's always running in your phone thumb2 compiled yappari would be awesome. On the other hand, since it's closed source whatsapp don't have insight in the code.

Yup, but I'm also getting that in my official Android client.

EDIT: All my clients connect now (old Yappari, new Yappari and my official WhatsApp clients in Android and Symbian).
