There are many great apps which can be found by searching talk.maemo.org which for various reasons were never uploaded to the repos.
Perhaps there is a smart way to filter through TMO for these .debs or ready to run scripts and bins and have a wiki page so they can be easily browsed.
Not sure the best way to do this but there are too many great apps which are not on the repos.

Finding things not on repos is a big mess specialy scripts and archives :-
