hello everyone

i just installed the cssu and everything was ok but when i reboot i got nothing so i typed in the terminal the command "community-ssu-enabler" and i got this

Community ssu already enabled
Press any key to exit ...

but there is no cssu changes in my phone

CSSU does not change the looks of Maemo5 it is bugfixes, updates and patches to make it become more reliable, improved and usable. Most things, you do not see but feel, like smoothness and responsivness or less battery drain.

It is not a replacement it should be just like Nokia SSUs + some enhancements.

If that is not the answer you were looking for you need to describe your case more specific, maybe join freenode IRC #maemo-ssu

To definitively check if css is installed, check the cssu applet in settings. You can see the version installed there. If it says unknown, you might indeed have an issue.

Thank you for your comment and i know that cssu isn't supposed to do glamorous things but what i expected is to have the orientation things but i don't have it in fact it's not my first time to install cssu but i used to have the orientation lock but now i don't have it i m pretty shure that it is running but is this version dosn't have the orientation lock or what

What version of CSSU.
And what items exactly do you want to rotate.

yes thank you so much i found it but you got understand man there are so many threads and each one have like a bilion page so it is very hard to get the info but anyway for those who have the same probleme you can fix it by installing this applet
