Hi,

I am working on a qml based UI for stellarium.

What do you think.

Looking good so far

What about this one? It's available on Ovi for some money but the source is available too:
http://stellarium-mobile.org/

Is there any reason why you are making a new GUI?

Downloaded the Ovi one. Seems pretty basic compared to Nicolai's UI. Bit buggy too, so I still prefer to use the non-hildonised version of Stellarium.
But I'll most definitely replace the Ovi version with Nicolai's any day.

How do you plan to implement it Nicolai, will it be a plugin or will it be a whole new version of Stellarium?

The last time I looked at this source, I wasn't able to
build the application.

Not a new application. Only a QML based UI on top of the
originial application.

Didn't look at the source, only if it seemed available...
Like I said, it's looking good from the video

That's amazing ! I'm a stellarium fan but this port seems to be even better (user friendly) than the desktop version. thanks.
