Wow, I didn't know they existed anymore. Guess they dont get crawled by google, as I didn't find the .deb that I needed...

Anyways, I added
Code:
deb http://skeiron.org/repo/downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/mr0/ /
deb http://skeiron.org/repo/downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/apps/ /
deb http://skeiron.org/repo/downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/210/ /
deb http://skeiron.org/repo/downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/mr0/ /
deb http://skeiron.org/repo/downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ssu/apps/ /
deb http://skeiron.org/repo/downloads.maemo.nokia.com/fremantle/ovi/ /
(dunno if they are redundant, but I dont care for the moment)
and installed the calendar files. Well, my old data is gone (maybe purged), but now I have a working calendar and notes application again. Thx so much!

Err, you don't need the skeiron repos. Those were a temporary workaround for something and I don't know how up-to-date they are.

You just need the good old Nokia ones that came preinstalled with your phone. I guess you disabled them when you installed CSSU. Even though, IIRC, the CSSU installation instructions say explicitly to enable them.

Calendar l10n packages are in Nokia SSU. Sorry, my fault, I should have been more specific to start with.

But hey, whatever rocks your boat

It is placebo effect, I ran http://www.etalabs.net/libc-bench.html against thumb glibc and cssu glibc, thumb glibc is faster within the error margin (read 2-5%)

I have 2 battery icons after update and actually quite like the new one. How do I remove the old one? Just uninstall advanced power?

@andil,
That is quite normal. After a reboot, the battery applet sometimes loses track of battery status. All you need is recharge fully, until the indicator LED turns green.

@rahulalankar,
I have no idea. I think I've seen the charging light problem described somewhere including the solution, but can't remember. If a search doesn't help, try the usual: switch off, take the battery out, wait a few minutes, put the battery back in.

Regarding your camera problem, you may have some packages missing. I would try this in the terminal (as a user is fine, you don't need to be root):

Code:
dpkg -l | grep camera
EDIT: In case it isn't obvious, that command is to check what you have installed. Please copy the output and paste it here. It will NOT fix your problem.

+1

Though my current preferred devlopment method is to ssh (tmux for the win) to a VPS where I have installed scratchbox. This way you get the speed of a real (virtual computer and you don't empty the battery.

With rsync you get the compiled stuff back.
