Hi,

I was playing around with the F.D.B 6.1 themes...

After trying restoring to the default theme (none of them worked for some reason). I got a lot of error's. But it still restarted. But now I'm in the ****...

After a flicker of the nokia logo is sorts of locks up... It shows 9 small white squares the flicker one at a time to gray (looks like a random pattern). And stops booting.

If I connect the pc usb cable I can select the mode... And mass storage works. When I remove the SIM-card it tells me there is no mobile internet connection any more.

When you call you get no connection.

I'm now just charging the battery because I can't use the phone. And shows the normal charging screen.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem.

Daniël

Looks like the safest way is to reflash. You will lose your installed apps but contacts and data should remain intact.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Using the normal reflash methode... Isn't that over kill?

Doesn't have to be quick just the best one.

The ability to reflash and get your kit back up and running is a godsend, not overkill...

It's got me out the s hit a few times

Will try it in the morning. It's midnight here right now so not right now.
How long will it take?

I use NaviFirm and Phoenix method. If it's your first time I recommend you watch this -

Keep the vid open, pausing it as you go through each step.
You should give yourself about an hour, that should be enough. But do not rush it - be certain of what you are doing at each stage.

Edit - and don't worry about the Symbian reference - this method works fine on my N9

Doesn't work... Will not find the phone... But the phone works in mass storage device mode...

Will have to go to the nokia center.

THNX for the help! And new ideas are welcome. I can't bring it in today any more.

I have "flahed" my phone three times now when i have messed up my phone with terminal. I just don't understand the navifirm-hassle. I personally just install the pr1.2 again, and use backup after that.

I use NSU, took about 5mins after downloading the package. Phone works great after that. No hassle and very quick, works every time.

Is there how-to for the NSU way? I think I just need to reinstall harmattan and not flash the firmware/software.

Just follow any 3 of those, I use method 3, but any of them works.
