I don't think anybody here will be willing to sell theirs right now; esp. since a great Maemo Leste update came through recently!

FWIW, I ebay'd mine from the USA. It seems they weren't all that common in Europe.

I don't think it is sold in Nordic countries at all. It is rare in Europe, I have only seen in UK. Good thing is that US model XT894 (is there any another models?) works in Europe without operator locks.

As far as I know Motorola Droid 4 (XT894) was released only in USA for Verizon and its MVNO.
XT894 does not have any network lock or simlock everywhere except USA where it is locked to Verizon (or its MVNO, if device comes from them).
As far as I know there is no way to "fully" unlock the GSM - to use it with other carrier in the USA.

Except that there are mentions on XDA forum about some prototypes slightly differing from this Verizon branded model - for example it had unlockable (or unlocked - not sure) bootloader.

I bought my XT894 from local reseller who must have imported it to Poland from US.

^ sorry, does this mean I'll never be able to use mine as a phone in the USA?
Or possibly not possible in Europe, too?

It says Verizon on the front and XT894 under the battery cover.

I have never tried using it as a phone when I got it, and now I cannot boot into Android anymore.

As you can see, there are a few, and they're cheap. But almost all of them from the USA. Import taxes & shipping are roughly as much as the buying price. Ebay counts the correct end price for you, or at least it did in my case.
