i settled for Vikuiti DQC-160 and it is much better option in my view, it fits better without leaving massive gaps like the Clarivue did and it got perfect cut outs for everything where Clarivue only...

Renkon, using 911 in such way is very bad idea, not only illegal but also you might be endup being the only reason why someone with real emergency didn't get the help really needed on time.

many sites, emails etc have our passwords stored so if you lose your phone whoever finds it will have access to the lot, with pin...

spring loaded clips don't push contacts against each other so as long you insert plug all the way in it will work as well as with the clips.
at the end of the day it is much cheaper to replace...

i used angle grinder, you got to have sturdy hands or get someone to hold it for you while you put the plug to it.
make sure to use safty gear :)

i took sharp knife to all of my usb plugs that i use with n900 and worked in these spring loaded clips, just pushing it down few times with fair amount of force (without going nuts) they are now not...

sudo gainroot
apt-get -f install
apt-get autoremove

this worked for me every time

i'm going to grind down these two spring loaded clips on usb plug from charger.
usb data cable is quite easy to go in and out but charger plug is bit different and you have to pull it fair bit...

gainroot then run apt-get -f install
after that you will see list of things and command to clean it up (apt-get autoremove) run it and it all left overs should be gone now

also try starting n900 without the sim at all.
if that works clean sim contacts and try again.
