Call for testers

Ok, I put this off for a while as I didn't have time to respond to questions properly (I still don't actually, so please bear with me) but it's about time we move forward.

So: I've got a temporary...

Re: ANNOUNCE: Easy Debian Turbo-Charged Edition!

I have noticed that the SD card can make a huge difference to stability; some cards just aren't very reliable, and they can corrupt my data badly.

I can't comment on speed since I only use SDHC...

Re: ANNOUNCE: Easy Debian Turbo-Charged Edition!

I got the same issues, but just have not had time to write up on it yet... so it seems to be reproducible. I guess I feel less an idiot, but sad that it didn't work for you, either.

Re: n810 $299 @ compusa

Well, it does mean the stock is depleted; the available facts are stubbornly silent on whether it will be replaced or when the N810W will arrive. It seems unlikely that the N810W displaces the N810...

Re: n810 $299 @ compusa

Ok...So TigerDirect and it's devious doppelganger compusa, both say THIS ITEM IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE of the n810, though still at $299 of course, just to tease you ( and I!!) as it were. Does this...

Re: ANNOUNCE: Easy Debian For Everyone! OpenOffice, Firefox 3, Java, AbiWord, IceWM,

I can confirm that Gnash, the open-source flash player plugin installed in this package, is not up to the task of playing YouTube videos. Thankfully, Adobe Flash was one of the things that Nokia paid...

Re: Dismal Diablo Battery Life - N800

heh, killing hildon-desktop via load-applet makes homecpuspeed pulse between 164 and 397, until right before it plans to turn the screen of automatically. then it settles at 164 for maybe 10 seconds...

Re: Advanced Backlight Statusbar Applet

Did you mean that you can't use it because the light meter support is an essential feature to you, or because it actually doesn't work for some reason?

I don't have an n810 so I don't know how the...

Re: Advanced Backlight Statusbar Applet
