I, for myself, take a
- knowledgeable,
- self-educated,
- maybe rude oldtimer
- with a tendency to post snarky replies
BUT
- knows his stuff inside out
- therefore is probably very helpful if you are not asking in a dumb or 'demanding' way

any day over a
- nice,
- totally sugar sweet,
- tolerance showing freshman
- that maybe just arrived on TMO,
- complains about language / style used and
- is just getting around how to install moar appz on his fone or
- politely (har har) requesting video tuts
any friggin' time.

Now fill in imaginary member names, if you wanna.

This forum is technical for a reason. We no likeee watering it down.

People should just learn how to (tactfully) ignore what they don't like.

Over-moderation is a problem in itself, and is not the answer here.
