It wont find my old account. It still says Unknown error!

If you need to re-register your number for WhatsApp:

Remove Wazapp account: Accounts – Wazapp – menu at bottom right – Delete Account

Download BlueStacks – this is an Android app player for the PC.
Download WhatsApp for Android on your PC
Delete your Wazapp history file (suggested by Jayanand)
Reinstall Wazapp on your N9
Run WhatsApp on BlueStacks, register with your N9′s mobile number
Tip from sb0373 on TMO: Leave Wazapp open with the registration screen active when BlueStacks is being used to send the SMS. This allows the N9 to pick up the registration SMS automatically.



Now the folder .wazapp in Filebox has disappeared...

Can I somehow begin this installing/registration process from the beginning so it will 100% work?

what i did to install my wazapp (92012-0000.deb) was...

1. unistall wazapp then I wait until it was totally uninstall (until you could delete another app) then delete the .wazapp folder using filebox then restart my phone

2. after restart I install the wazapp then after that restart the phone again

3. after restarting I re-registered by using my solution and I'm done

one of my friends tried my solution and it works ^^ but I notice that my solution doesn't work for all plus sometimes some people couldn't use the bluestacks solution to re-register or the delete the .db file too. I varies from user to user for some reason.

Sync contacts works really fine in my phone
If someone has problems with missing contacts, please run wazapp from terminal and PM me the log (and the missing contact number)
Also, I've fixed creating group function.

EDIT 2: Those contacts issue in chat window comes from group chats notifications. I think I've fixed it too. Please check

The same here... It shows those contacts of groups that had pending messages. But It also does not sync any contacts at all.

Also why are groups only shown when someone writes to you and not pulled!? Is that impossible or only happening to me?

Hope we get a way to sync contacts again ;-) I'd even support a fork with QML loaded ones. I don't have that many :P

for me the same. first dont sync. after reboot crash. terminal says somethings about root access but befor start the terminal i write devel-su and the pwd....
now downgrade to te last cepi before the last 2

edit sorry for my english. beforo start wazapp with the terminal I enter in devel-su mode.

Minor grammar issues in group chat:

- For other contacts in the group change the word "join" to "joined" "CepiPerez has joined the group"

- For yourself, change "has" to "have," - - "you have changed the group picture"
