I followed the post #57 but I get the following error when trying to run "debian" in opensh:

/home/user # aegisctl -s
+edrtxk, -saz
/home/user # debian
Chroot dir specified /.debian
/home/user/MyDocs/debian-m5-v3e.img.ext2 specified in ~/.chroot
Mouting...
using image file: /home/user/MyDocs/debian-m5-v3e.img.ext2
fs type is ext2
using ext2 file system
mounting /home/user/MyDocs/debian-m5-v3e.img.ext2 on loop
Mount failure! /home/user/MyDocs/debian-m5-v3e.img.ext2 failed to mount on loop0 BusyBox v1.20.0.git (MeeGo 3:1.20-0.1+0m7) multi-call binary. Usage: mount [OPTIONS] [-o OPTS] DEVICE NODE
Cancelling chroot...
Any idea of where I messed up? Many thanks in advance. Just in case, the Debian LXDE icon does not run anything.

Sorry for not reading through the whole thread to see if this has been reported again (it is not reported in the first and few last pages).

With estel's debian image the "+kb" Xephyr parameter is not supported and throws and error. It works just fine if you just remove it from xephwm

No idea, anyone?

I'll continue as soon as possible our private chat about your tutorial for running Ubuntu (what you showed in your video is quite awesome, I'd really like to run Ubuntu on the N9 as well; BT keyboard is on the way), I'm just in a rush for some days so I can't try it right now. Perhaps there will be a .deb of your scrips by this time!

However, as I already did the whole procedure for HarmChom (above quotation), I'm just wondering why it does not work, in case it does not require much time to solve.

My N9 is now in open mode, not only incepted like before, but I'm still stuck in the procedure. When I try to launch Debian, something wrong happens with the mounting.

Ok so now I tried again to follow the whole procedure from the beginning after reflash with PR 1.3, and I still get the error. I really don't know what is wrong: it is the third time I follow each step of the how-to on Post #57, and I always get the same mounting error. This time I replaced the opensh commands with ariadne, as I use Inception 0.2 with PR 1.3, but no more success.

I'm not yet using PR1.3 (I'm waiting for Opptimizer), so I can't test if the how-to of post #57 is still 100% ok.

I'm not sure anything changed (except from ariadne instead of opensh because of Inception), as I got exactly the same error when I was in PR 1.2. I just have no idea of what may cause this mounting error. I use the default m5e-v5 image and its path in /home/user/.chroot is OK.

Is it possible that the error I get when trying the "debian" script would result from too low space available? I have 795 MB free on /, 1.60 GB free on /home, and 1.29 GB free on /home/user/MyDocs. It's less than the image size, but if I understand well, the mounting process does not actually use space, it justs sets a directory (/.debian I guess?) to "browse" the .img.ext2 file, right? I tried the default .img.ext2 file in the first post, as well as the Sci version provided by Rcolistete on his blog. Both lead to the same error, which is exactly the one I also had when in PR 1.2:

/home/user # aegisctl -s
+edrtxk, -saz
/home/user # debian
Chroot dir specified /.debian
/home/user/MyDocs/debian-m5-v3e.img.ext2 specified in ~/.chroot
Mouting...
using image file: /home/user/MyDocs/debian-m5-v3e.img.ext2
fs type is ext2
using ext2 file system
mounting /home/user/MyDocs/debian-m5-v3e.img.ext2 on loop
Mount failure! /home/user/MyDocs/debian-m5-v3e.img.ext2 failed to mount on loop0 BusyBox v1.20.0.git (MeeGo 3:1.20-0.1+0m7) multi-call binary. Usage: mount [OPTIONS] [-o OPTS] DEVICE NODE
Cancelling chroot...
