Re: And the Kindle Plus is...
Judging by this comment, I assume that you haven't seen an ebook on the iPhone. This whole pixel density thing is a false argument. The font rendering is really perfectly fine on the iPhone, it's...

Re: And the Kindle Plus is...
I have the exact opposite experience. Reading on my N800 is hampered mainly by the lack of transreflective screen which makes reading in anything but a dim room quite fatiguing. I have no problems...

Re: Do we envy jPhone developers?
I don't understand this. iTunes as well as the on-device app store easily allows you to browse apps by category.
And I have used the search function with success; no it's no Google but it can...

Re: And the Kindle Plus is...
I don't know what "titchy" means, but actually, the books in the iPhone's Kindle reader are surprisingly easy to read, even in sunlight, and the form factor of the iPhone is better for reading when...

Re: And the Kindle Plus is...
Actually what it means is, the books you read on your iPhone and your Kindle are always in sync, meaning if you read up to page 123 on your Kindle, then open the book on your iPhone, it opens to page...

Re: When you bought your n800, what did you pay?
It is important to me... I like the tablets but wouldn't pay more than about $250, maybe $300 in a pinch. I have an Acer "netbook" that I paid $350 for, which is about my upper range for that form...

Re: Pandora preordered. News at 11.
I'm surprised that anyone is surprised that these things sold so many. 3000 units isn't really all that many on a worldwide distribution, and with the internet hype we've seen. I assumed they would...

Re: Pandora preordered. News at 11.
Well, considering Visa/MC doesn't grant exceptions to, for example, Best Buy, Amazon.com, Dell, Microsoft... well, whatever, I guess "Craig" has connections. Although I'm sure your theory could be...

Re: No more Nokia products for me
Funny thing... I was walking outside the Nokia Customer Service center the other day and found an N800 battery and a couple of 2gig SD cards lying on the sidewalk... looked like someone threw them...
