I just watched Terry Gilliam's 'Brasil' on iPlayer with my N900. It wasn't too bad overall - slightly jumpy but not unwatchable.

BTW I used the 'normal' iPlayer mode, not the bigscreen version...

Good find. Works well for most of the built-in apps.

It works in Conversations too. Unfortunately, the virtual keyboard doesn't work in rotated mode :( Would have been perfect otherwise...

Interesting. Mine stays at the same brightness no matter what the environmental light levels are. Maybe there's a setting to switch it back on somewhere? :confused:

No corruption here. I'm using D-THEME Black with a custom background. I did reboot immediately after installing the updates. Maybe that has made a difference?

Can't say I noticed a problem before updating, but it opens instantly post-update. Scrolling up and down the list is smooth and quick. HTH

Thought I would have a go at apt-get upgrade. Got similar results to the above.

Can also confirm that everything is snappier. Home page swiping runs more smoothly and media player no longer does...

I got fed up of waiting and flashed mine too.

Pretty painless procedure really. I only lost my startup video and the theme changed, otherwise everything's back to normal. The backup app works...
