EU has standardized the Micro USB charging last year. All phones sold in EU must have Micro USb charging capability. This did not stop Nokia to install the round charger port on their newest devices....

Already used the E7. It s very nice device but E7 has 16 gb internal and No sd slot, external memory only when you connect with USB.
N8 has 16 gb internal+ (my 32 gb) microsd slot + memory connect...

1- Unlike you most folks have TV sets. This will give them the ability to use the N8 as video player which will beat their regular DVD player.

Problem is sometimes caused when the device is connected to PC in Mass media mode. Try avoiding this.

N900 is not for average people who wish to just push a button and get everything works for them. FYI it works like your PC/MAC. No App is needed to use the N900. Just open the web browser and surf....
