Nope. Take a look at their website. Also good source of information are blogs written by people who got the samsung Tizen developer devices from the Tizen conference. There is a lot of information (including source code) about Tizen for those willing to look into it. While they're not as open as I'd like them to be there is a lot more to it than just samsung marketting.

With transaction support, that is possible.
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/...e/ch06s02.html

If you for example install the game foobar and along with foobar.rpm there is several packages it depends on and they are installed also automatically. You can get transaction ID of that installation and later see the packages which came with that transaction. You can then remove all those packages (except it won't remove those which have dependencies to some package which was installed later time with an another transaction)

All that should be implemented in the GUI also to be useful for users, but the technical features are there already.

All the packages installed at the same time are given the same transaction ID. This means that you can perform operations on a set of packages, the packages that were installed together.

True, but we know who's involved. I fully expect Intel & LF to screw it up, again.

package-cleanup(1) (package yum-utils) is another way of finding and removing cruft. I don't know if there's a zypper equivalent though.
